Dedicated to the improvement of the coaching profession and the sport of football, the American Football Coaches Association was founded in 1922.
From its modest
beginnings - only 43 coaches
attended its first informal meeting,
has grown to more than 10,000 members
worldwide, and has
something for coaches at
every level.

was founded in 2002 with
somewhat different
priorities - the development of youth, high school, and international amateur football. USA Football
was endowed by the NFL
